How I Learnt to be Kind to Myself

I have always been super organized. My room is always spotless, I have a planner for everything, and I basically run my life like a mini-CEO?

However on that day, I was down, totally wiped out. My body felt like it'd been hit by a truck, and I was basically a zombie on the couch.

At first, I was freaking out, you know? Like, "OMG, the dishes are piling up, laundry's overflowing, and who's gonna make sure everyone eats on time?!" I was trying to boss everyone around from my sickbed, but it was just making me more stressed.

Then, I was like, chill! I realized I couldn't control everything, and honestly, trying was exhausting. It's like, you can't force people to do things exactly your way, right?

So, I just let go. It was hard, 'cause seeing things a little messy usually drives me crazy. But slowly, I started to feel calmer.

I realized that true peace isn't about having everything perfect, it's about accepting things as they are, even if they're not perfect. It's about being kind to myself and understanding that everyone's doing their best.

So yeah, today was a good reminder to chill out a bit and not try to control the whole world.
